Sweet and Sour Chicken

This summer we had a swarm of bees take up residence in our maple tree. They refused to leave and we ended up having to have bee keepers come and remove them.

Wow. That's crazy.
I had a bee hive take up residence in my bedroom wall. Totally had to call in the professionals.
Happy Monday to you, Michelle.
I can still picture how you described them closing in on your tree after flying in an evil cloud between the neighbors' houses. Blech!
I hate bees. The only good bee is a dead be, even though if we didn't have them we would all technically starve because there would be no pollination..yadda yadda yadda
This picture (which btw gives me the creeps) reminds me of something that happened at a family reunion. First, you must know that I have over 25 great aunts & uncles, so there was no shortage of people at this reunion. My grandma all of a sudden stood up, let out a squeal and dropped her pants right in the middle of everyone because a bee had found its way up her pantleg.
You'd think that she would've immediately put the pants back on after realizing she was 1/2 naked in front of hundreds of people...but... instead, she proceeded to beat "the tar" out of the bee with her "britches" until that "dad-gum" bee was dead!!! (LOL The hick in me just came out with those words)
My cousin used to blow them up with firecrackers - until one time he tried it with a hornets next and the hornets went after him and stung him.
Ok my eyes would not allow me to read the posting below that ever frighteing picture. Bees make me squeemish!
these look scary! I'd be runnin'...
