Spring?
Trying to get this shot here.....
Ended up like this........
Never trust walking on snow that is frozen solid. Murphy's Law says it has to get soft at some point and you will end up nearly ass deep in the snow.
In weather news from Minnesota....It has been in the 40's here for days which has resulted in our snow pack almost completely melting. Low lying areas are flooded. Nearly everything is dirty and nasty looking but there is a silver lining. The grass is green! Having an insulating blanket of snow covering our lawns since mid November has protected it from the bitter cold temperatures. It almost feels springy. Almost!
Ugh! It annoys me how my pictures look goofy when I resize them for blogger. Click to enlarge. Please.

I love green grass. It is so weird, here in England, the grass doesn't die in the winter. It is trippy.
Lol, nice jeans though! :D
I clicked to enlarge your other photo.... wow, when you study the dried grass for a while, it's amazing how many different colours you can see.... like dark blues and russets. I love that photo.
Glad you said "click to enlarge" because.. before that I could not tell how deep that snow really was on your leg.
It's been warm here too - but snow coming Saturday.
Lovely. Just lovely.
She says sarcastically.
That is the grossest picture ever! Is that snow really up to your knee or does it just look like it because of the angle of the camera?
LOL, love when that happens, its like WHoooooop!!!
Looks beautiful there, I am really hopeful that spring is almost here tooooooooo!
Nothing says "spring" like wet jeans...
I don't know.. maybe you forgot to add me to be "followed" under your new blog?
Sometimes it takes a day or so for new postings to show up in my reader. I thought it was cuz I'm at work when that happens. LOL
B~what's gross about it? I was actually in farther than my knee.
Kate~ nope I changed that a long time ago. The last post of yours that showed in my reader was the one about getting gray.
Our snow is doing the same thing.
Good shots, though
Nice pics. Green is good, hoping for a little of that here soon too.
I once got stuck in mud almost up to my knees, after stepping on what I thought was a solid sheet of ice. It wasn't. I was on a construction site, and the superintendent laughed at me. (sigh) the price of being an architect...
It's not really spring like. Don't believe it. They haven't even come close to hold the state tournaments. I think I hear the winter wind outside...
We've been getting teased with spring weather out here. But I guess we are supposed to get snow this weekend. NOOOO!
