I'm always surprised to discover people who have been reading my journal but not commenting. Thanks for coming out from "under the cloak" and leaving your encouraging words. I can't tell you how much of a difference your comments have made in my decision not to give up journaling.
The ads suck, but they don't bother me that much. You scroll down, they disappear. If they start framing our entire journals in distracting, busy ads, that is when I may have to say goodbye to Journal Land. I think people kind of went off the deep end about them because there is so much hideously frustrating stuff going on these days---politics, natural disasters, wars---that they CAN'T do anything about. With this, they felt they had a choice, and many of them exercised it. Loudly. LOL! I can't say I blame them, but the noise and ugliness almost did me in...
