Rocky Shoreline

Doesn't this make you want to dip your toe in?
Tomorrow it is supposed to reach 40 degrees here in the frozen tundra. 40 degrees sounds like a hundred degrees right about now. Hopefully the weather jerks aren't yanking my chain and I will be able to get out and take a photo hike tomorrow. Although I am really enjoying digging through old files to come up with warm weather pictures. With every photo I open I stop and ponder the memory behind it. Very good for the soul! This one I was standing on the deck boat, camera in hand as usual. Wisconsin rocks!

Wisconsn has some beautiful waters, for sure. And lots of deer. I love looking for deer when we go on walks in Eau Claire. (my fiance lives there) Regarding your "punch a baby" entry, I hope you're feeling better. This winter is pissing me off and I wish the month of February was over so we could see some more warm temps. I remember in November when it was about 45-50 and I said, "this will seem tropical in a couple months" I knew it would happen. So right now I'd happily take 30 degrees even. I'm desperate for a photowalk myself.

So lovely! We have a little sun, a little snow, but I am ready for some green and warm. Thanks for the pic!

You heard 40? I heard mid-30's. If you get 5 degrees warmer down there, so help me god!

Wait, I have an appt at the dentist down there tomorrow. Nevermind.

And I was thinking it wasn't too bad around here -- it's actually one degree above zero -- until I realized the wind chill was -13.

Some day I will be in a place with warm toe-dippy water again. I live for that day.

Is that... poison ivy I see? Oh well. I'd rather be itchy than frozen!

Photo hikes are my favorite. We're supposed to be *mild* this weekend - maybe the mid 30s up to 40s. I will try to get out w/ my camera.
That photo has me happily looking forward to June...
