Chantix Diary Day 3

I really don't have all that much to post but I want to be able to look back here and track my progress. No crazy side effects today really accept for the foggy brain thing, some tiredness and a mild headache. I haven't noticed any insane dreams beyond the ones I usually have. Shawn said I have been talking in my sleep more and grinding my teeth more if that is even possible. I also have a stomach ache that feels like I haven't eaten in days. Thank goodness for Corn Nuts and sunflower seeds.
I don't have any idea if the Chantix is having any effect at all. Cigarette's still taste awesome and I still want to smoke, we'll see what happens in a few days when I am on the therapeutic dose.

Watch out for the teeth grinding. I was doing it so bad a few years back all the muscles in my neck and upper back seized up. I think death would have been preferable.

Hang in there!

About grinding the teeth.
Get a mouth guard if you can.
I grind my teeth and my one front tooth had to be filed down and is kinda thin. Had to get a mouth guard.

Just wait, you're still not at full dosage.

Once you get to the full strength pills, the yummy cigarette taste will start to disappear. Be thankful for the cloudy brain thing, I wish I had that.

As for grinding your teeth....do you pay your bills???? If so, pass it off on your spouse, your teeth grinding will stop immediately. That's what happened to me.

The stomach that feels empty will turn into a rumbley pit of nausea as soon as you get to the full dosage, it really isn't that bad and even if you get it should only last about 30 min., but if you eat 10 min after you take your pill or start feeling it, it isn't so bad and will go away quicker.

Oh honey, I wish I could just fix it for you. Make it all better. Why can't I be a superhero!? Remember when we were at the hospital for Angel Butt's birth, and I wanted to trade places with W because of all the pain she was in? Yeah, I'd totally quit smoking for you if I could.

Captain Dumbass~ I have severe TMJ which causes the teeth grinding. I have done it since I was young.

Kate~ I am about to get orthodontics to cure the TMJ so the grinding will stop.

Cameron~ I'm not the sharpest pencil as it is so the brain fog really bothers me. See the comments above for why I grind.

Kat~ Jeez thanks! I can hardly wait for my stomach to hurt worse! Thanks for the eating advice.

Cat~ You are the bombdiggity!
